in the old testiment there was a lot of animal sacrifice mentioned is it something modern jews still practice

As others have mentioned, animal offerings are only done in the temple, and since we have no temple (for now) we'll just have to wait. But during the end times, when the temple is rebuilt, sacrifices will resume.
Either way, it's not such a big deal for us. Jews don't believe that "blood is essential for atonement". We beleive that the main part is heartfelt repentance, and if the externals aren't available it's not a huge problem.

no, animal sacrifice is no longer practiced. to perform this sacrement we must rebuild the temple is jerusleum and somehow find a new high priest who is a direct decendent of the cohanim (high preists in the times of the torah). the practice of prayer took place of the ritual sacrifices.

not exactly. they do only eat meat beef that has been ritually bled and killed by a rabbi from the front half of the steer.they slit it's throat with a sword.....they do not eat pork, they as well as muslims consider it an unclean animal.
