I've been ten weeks without my wife now and it's killing me. The important thing to do is to pick one perfect moment in the past (you know which one I mean) and live in that until he returns. Another good technique is to make plans fro the future. Fun things that you want to do with/for him when he comes back. Whether you do them or not is irrelevant, the imprtant thing is to be looking forward in hope.

OMG! Let the guy have space with his family! Ring him in a few days or something or ring him now if you really want to talk to him! It isnt that bigger decision I think you should just get over it and leave him alone for awile!

Y not? call him but be subtle so as not to show that u are hard-up or checking on him.
Call him and ask if everything is ok? is his well-being is fine. Say u miss him. that's all. make it short and sweet. show that u r concern that he is fine, without sounding too nosey.
