christain believe in Jesus & catholics believe in Mary (which is Jesus's mother, right?), & both using the same bible.
Mary & Jesus can consider one family member & why there is 2 different believer?
why God don't make them united?

you can believe in jesus and mother mary at the same time but you can only be guided by jesus or mother mary if there is a problem you are trying to solve.

i believe in Allah, Jesus, Mother Mary, Buddha etc and am guided by Buddha for solutions.

but Allah, Jesus, Mother Mary etc do appear at times near me and I pray for my family, friends and neighbours and those who know me just as I pray to Buddha.

Mary being worshiped in the catholic church came about as a result of wanting a family" imaged" religion. There God is the father, Mary the mother and Jesus the son or child. Christians on the other hand only believe that the way into heaven is through Jesus and therefore Mary has no special meaning but only as the mother of Jesus

First of all, catholics ARE christian, and they believe that Mary was made holy by carrying Jesus. Mary and Jesus are 2 different people, just like your mother and you. And God doesn't want to make them one person.

Oh man.... Mary is NOT on the same level of existance as Jesus. Jesus was the song of GOd, indeed he was God. Mary was a servant of God, a human just like you and me, who chose to follow GOD'S will and give birth to his child.
The difference is, Christians know that Mary is only follwing what God told her to do, as we all should. But Catholics believe she shold be elevated to the point of godliness, that we should worship her for what she's done. Sure she's blessed, but so are we. and she is not God

Catholics do not believe in mary as a diety, they hold her in a venerated position as the mother of God incarnate, and they pray to her for intercession, believing that she holds the ear of god. She holds a position more in line with Saints.
