There is no proven potty training gimick that will work on every child. The singing potty may or may not work. The best age to start potty triaining is when your child starts to show you signs that he is ready. Can he say poop or pee, is he uncomfortable in a dirty diaper, can he tell you when the diaper is dirty?

Most parents start " training" when the baby is about 1 and a half. We take the baby to the bathroom with us so that he's not scared of it.. and we progress to buying that potty and keeping it in the livingroom. Let them play with it and get used to it. Then, try making them sit on it with their diaper on.. then try with the diaper off.

Once he's about 2, have a convo about moving the potty to the bathrooom, and then start with the real training. When you go to the bathroom, take him with you and put him on the potty without a diaper. Put him on it in the morning, a little after meals, before bed, or when your child would usually go in his diaper.

Studies show that if you start earlier than 2 actually putting them on the potty to USE it, your child will be trained later and have more accidents along the way.

SO, as long as you're not pushing him to USE the potty before he's 2, you can get him used to it along the way.

Mostly you can read when a baby wants to be potty trained, they may start to take more interest in that action, and this curiosity is a sign that they might be conceptually ready for potty training, as a general guide around 2-3 years, with the aim being to be fully potty trained (At least during the day) by 4 or 5. I haven't ever seen a singing toilet, so I'm not sure about that, but the training pants are good. And if you don't mind being a bit of a hippy, let your child run around the back yard without pants on for a while, this helps them become aware of when it might happen, as opposed to nappies, where they don't feel it as immeadiately. Yes, it sounds odd, but it really works, it has to do with learning cause and effect, which is a natural part of development. I hope this is helpful

I got potty trained without the benefit of a singing toilet, so I wouldn't waste my money on one. The transition from diaper to potty usually occurs between the ages of 2 and 3.

I think that a child should be potty trained by the age of 3. Because they will be starting school soon and they should now how by then. I have a singing potty and my 23 month old who I am potting training right now loves it. She always want to go to the potty. And also your child should always be rewarded for using the potty.

they do it when they are ready. when they start showing an interest in the potty/toilet, then start letting them sit on it. i wouldn't advise a singing toilet because they'll get upset when you have to use a public toilet or one at someone elses house and it doesn't sing.

whilst it's summer let them run around bottomless and keep a potty near for them to sit on. if they have accidents and get the floor, don't panic. its all part of the learning process. Oh, and let them watch you on the toilet so they get the idea what to do.

But her mom insisted on trying.. Well, We got home and I had to take a dump.. Sure enough she followed me in.. Her mom put her on the potty chair. And i said no way will she use it.. Sure enough she did.. a number 2!.. LOL since then she always didn't want a diaper on.. And insisted on using the potty chair.. except of course when she went to bed.

start potty training when you think the baby is ready... if he can hold it--not wet in morning--of shows any sign before wetting diaper---the singing toilets made my kids pour water in them, they would not go potty in there for me---but i know a few it did work for---every baby is different

Can start from 1.5 yrs onwards but no fix rule. The best is not to let him wear diapers at all in the daytime to begin with. After a while, he will be trained automatically almost effortlessly.
