Does it really matter if she has chicken every day?? You can always add other meats to the chicken to make sure that she gets variety. My dog is allergic to red meat, so it's chicken or fish for him. As long as the diet you feed is balanced and it's not making her sick in the tummy I wouldn't worry.

Either that or leave the food there. As long as there is nothing around that will steal the food, she'll eventually get hungry enough to eat anything you give her.

I would probably consult a vet, over the phone should be fine, and run through exactly what you give her to make sure that her diet is balanced, that way you won't miss anything out.

Does the word spoiled ring a bell? You can get a high quality dog food, usually a good lamb and rice dry dog food, and put it in her dog dish and stop feeding her chicken. It might take her a few days, but when she gets hungry enough, she will eat the dog food. You could try mixing a little bit of chicken in with the dry dog food. It is up to YOU, not her!!! Chicken is fine to feed her, as long as she is eating a good dry dog food, too. Chicken ONLY is not o.k.

Oh dear what a fool you are. When will people start to realise that pets are not HUMAN??. Why cant people feed their animals PET FOOD, like in a tin. Tinned food provides all the nutrients they require. You better not be feeding the poor mut any chicken bones? These are extremely dangerous and can splinter the stomach lining.

Just put some tinned food in a bowl I am sure if she is hungry, she will eat it.

yes, stop feeding her. Apso's are a ridiculous creature and hence should not be fed EVER!!!

(tho you might have a few problems with the authorities for cruelty to animals, so you might just wanna change her diet. If she won't eat it, just keep re-offering it to her, she will eat it when she gets hungry enough. Keep your chicken for special treats when you want her to perform tricks.)

Get a high quality food at the pet shop, and feed her a chicken based one, with a Little canned chicken mixed in..then reduce the canned chicken gradually until she is eating the good kibble. Canidae's first ingredient is Human grade chicken. but, Innova, wysong, Wellness and Solid Gold are all tasty meat based kibbles.

NO ! DON'T STOP FEEDING THE PET . ARE YOU NUTS ? HOW DID THIS ANIMAL START EATING ONLY CHICKEN ? IF THE DOG IS 7 YEARS OLD THEN IT IS ROUGHLY THE AGE OF YOUR PARENTS...WELL , I DON'T KNOW YOUR PARENTS BUT CONSIDER YOUR DOGS AGE AT ABOUT 49 YEARS OLD. IF THE DOG HAS BEEN EATING CHICKEN FOR MOST OF IT'S LIFE ( BECAUSE OF SOME UNKNOWN FORCE THAT ALWAYS SUPPLIED CHICKEN TO EAT ) THEN AT 50 YEARS OLD ,...I'D SAY FEED THE DOG CHICKEN AND HOPE YOU ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO LIVE THAT LONG.

"should i stop feeding my dog as she only wants chicken in her meals?"

so what? you're gonna starve her?

If she only wants chicken, then just give her chicken.

chicken bone is sharp and britle so they will break into small pieces which they can ingest and thats where they cause problems, inside the dog's belly where the sharp bones scrape and pierce its linings. unlie cow bones which they only lick.
