Oliver,Ichecked out your 360 site, really liked your workI can see alot of the artists you admire influences in your work as well as your own language. From the pics of you exhibition you seem to have it well under control----live music, food and wine--well done. All I can say Oliver is, just keep on doing it,you could possibley "theme" it,ie choose a subject and create an atmosphere around from the exhibited works to the music ,food etc and ask the guests on the opening night to come dressed accordingly------Have a couple of easels around with blank paper for your guests to create their own impressions of your work and to to celebrate your creativity and share in its birth.
Again well done Oliver,if you ever make it to Florence it would be nice to share a few wines and lies with you-----Ken

Sorry could not access you site.
Our local councils all got together and published a list of local artists in all fields from pottery, stain glass, paintings etc and where you could see their work over the course of a week.
I never knew we had so much local talent or where to find it.
If you visited 3 galleries or artists in 3 different locations/boroughs you could enter a prize draw for £500 to spend at any of the local artists. I thought this was a great idea and certainly raised the profile of lots of local artists.

Not just music- live music! Spanish guitar or something mellow like that works great. A cello might be nice. Serve wine and champagne. Be sure to invite all of your friends and your email list and publicize it in all you local papers (preferably the free type of announcements). Be prepared to sell your art- have a money exchange system set up. It's great if you have a friend who can fill this role so you can spend your time schmoozing with the guests, answering questions about your influences.

Of course like one of the guy had answered, is the interaction.
Another cool way is to expand the vibe of the exhibition's environment by playing music (lounge, soul, jazz, etc). Good to have the visitors' mind flowing together with it. Talk about installation art, haha!
I don't know whether you've put the light snacks, finger sandwiches or any light food in the check list, but if yo haven't, then its worth a try.
Anyway, I couldn't get accessed to your link, maybe you need to have it checked or so.
All the best and good luck!

I've had attendees put their name, address, email in a bowl for a drawing (no pun intended) so I could later generate a great mailing list, with the incentive of a small painting or print giveaway at the end of the opening reception. The giveaway was not junk either but well worth the value of getting a pre-qualified list of potential buyers which I've subsequently used to direct folks to my website and other openings.

that may not probably an interactive thought, yet I had long previous to an demonstrate the place an artist had his demonstrate of carnival photos & they set the temper via playing carnival song & having a popcorn cart (with the popcorn). It became super! in keeping with possibility you need to play on some form topic?
