At least 5 times per day for a Chihuahua. Every 3-4 hours would be better. I hope you are feeding her puppy milk? When it is 6 weeks, you can reduce it to 4 times per day.
At 9 weeks, 3 times per day...When you begin dog food, instead of formula, be sure to feed the very bast, as chihuahuas don't eat much, but are active..so, you want the food to be the best you can get...such as Canidae Puppy, or Wysong, Innova, or Wellness. You can find these at local pet supplie, but no food at your grocers is good enough for her.
Be sure to keep her warm...chill is her worst enemy.

Casper I want to answer you as kindly as I can because I feel you are doing your best with a tiny puppy, however did you get left with a 5 weeks old puppy that should be with his mother and siblings it would have helped if you had explained that perhaps the mother has 'walked away' from the pup. However that is for you to know because I only care about this little puppy and the thing that really concerns me is Parvo Virus and was the mother wormed? NO you can't wait until Wednesday because you would'nt if you had loose stools so get the puppy seen to as soon as you can. He's eating well so that's a great sign and I really hope you are not over feeding this poor little mite. If he does'nt like milk then leave him alone because it's not his mother's milk and that would have helped this little one. Buy some chicken or rabbit and dice it very small because your pup has tiny teeth and try porridge made with half milk/water this ensures he's getting fluid into him. I also hope you are invigorating his tummy because you could have more troubles. I'm really concerned about this pup because if people have been handling him he could have an infection, please get him to a Vet now before you lose him.

Is the puppies' Mom not feeding them? Usually they aren't weaned until they are at least 6 weeks old. I have 5 new chihuahua pups, and they are just now getting their eyes open.
Their mom is still nursing them, but if she stopped I would try using a dropper full of warm milk, until they could use a baby bottle--every 2-3 hours since their little tummys are so tiny, and they get hunger faster.

1st : TALK TO A VETERINARIAN ABOUT WHAT YOU SHOULD FEED A 3 WEEK OLD PUPPY BECAUSE THEIR SYSTEM WON'T HANDLE ALPO AT THIS EARLY AGE. MOTHERS MILK IS STILL WHAT THE PUPPY SHOULD RECEIVE AND THIS WOULD BE AS MANY TIMES A DAY AS THE MOTHER ALLOWS. IF MOM ISN'T AROUND AND YOU MUST FEED THEN REMEMBER THAT THIS IS AN INFANT AND SOFT FOOD SHOULD BE ABOUT ALL BUT THE PUPPY NEEDS THE NUTRITIONAL VALUES FROM THE MOTHERS MILK ( NOT COW'S MILK...BUT A SMALL AMOUNT WON'T HURT JUST DON'T FEED THE PUPPY ONLY COW'S MILK ) TALK TO A VET FOR THE PROPER NOURISHMENT.

Normally dogs are given their meal only once per day. Your dog is still a little baby. So give her some milk in the morning. In the afternoon you give her something to eat.

your puppy is very young and should still be nursing with its mother. Don't feed it human milk it will just cause it to get diarrhea and i don't think you'll want that. if something happened to its mother take it to your vet and they will give you something there

Where is this dog's mother? It should be nursing.

I would ask a vet or pet store that question.
