with all my dogs it has normally been a space of 2 weeks between the first and second injection. It doesn't matter if its 3 weeks but your vet did study for a long time and knows what he is doing so I would go with your vet.

two or three weeks doesn't matter. After your puppy receives all of its first series of injections don't give the dog any more, only rabbies. Injections beyond the end of the first series is superfluous and only makes money for the doctor. Go on line and read up on this subject. you will see that I am right.

It is definately 2 weeks. Some vets do give at 3 weeks, but this is not the safe time the sooner the better and it is 2 weeks normally.

Go by what your vet says! He knows what he is talking about, having studied for lots of years and having done loads of these injections! If you mistime it, you may have to start again - which means paying twice. this is because timing is very important with injections for things like parvo - otherwise your puppy has no immunity.
Good luck with the puddles!

Puppies no matter what breed get their first set of puppy shots when they are 6 weeks old. About 3 weeks after that they get a 2nd shot of the same thing, and same goes for the 3rd shot. After the third shot they dont get one until they are 1 yr old and its an adult shot and they only get that once a year along with their bordatella shot. (its for kennel cough)Make sure that the puppy also gets their bordatella shot along with their puppy shots because if you have to bring them to the bet for anything, you will have to pay to get it before they do anything with the dog. Oh and also, worm the dog every three months to keep them away.

If the vet says 2 weeks, then 2 weeks it is, he is the professional and knows what he is talking about. LISTEN TO WHAT THE PROFESSIONALS SAY, THEY KNOW MUCH BETTER THAN YOU.
