I'm a boy and I'm 17. I'm turning 18 in March. Is it normal to still be a virgin my age? I've never kissed a girl or had sex with one. Never even had a girlfriend since the 5th grade.
Everyone at school seems to have a girlfriend and have already had sex. I feel like the only boy who is still single and has never had sex with a girl.
Must I feel guilty about myself? Is it something I should be ashamed of? Is being a virgin uncool?
Before school ended, some girls harassed me at school because I'm not sexually active like everyone else. I told the principal about it, but it didn't do much good.
A lot of guys make out in the hallways at school. It kind of bothers sometimes, but I try to ignore it and try not to let it bother me.
I've never been on a date before. I would ask a girl out if I had a car. I'm taking Driver's Ed this Fall when school begins again.
Should I feel bad for being single?

Look, I'm 18 years old, never kissed a guy, and never done anything. So what if it's not "normal"? Why are you letting society's norms dictate your morals and values? Or even what you do with your own body? Why feel bad about something that is DIFFERENT and makes you unique? Why feel guilty if it's something that makes you YOU? I'm not ashamed of my single never-been-kissed virginal self. I don't believe that you should be either.
And to be honest, not everyone is comfortable with public displays of affection. I'm not entirely comfortable with it. And you know what, look on the bright side, if more people were like you and I, there'd be a whole lot less babies and general overpopulation in the world. ^_^

NO!!! I am 17. I turn 18 in December and besides the fact that I am a GIRL...my situation is the same as yours. All of my friends sleep around and I just don't think it should be that easy. I am not that easy. No thanks, I have morals. If you dont' believe me, you can check out my questions. I asked one similiar to this. I'm glad that there are guys out there who wait. Makes us girls that wait for the right guy even more sure of our decision. You first time should be something special..and sleeping w/the school slut isn't my idea of that. And as for being single, I had a "boyfriend" back in 4th grade I think. And I quickly learned that they are not worth the trouble when you are still in High School. I'm going to be a Senior when school starts next month and I've been single all throughout high school. I've maybe gone on a handful of dates. But what I really like about it is the freedom. I get to spend time with my friends, I get to spend time doing things that I like to do, and I get to figure out who I am as a person. And I think High School is all about finding who you are, what you want from life, etc.. I think you're awesome..sooo hang in there!!!

Nothing wrong with being a virgin at your age. The car helps a lot so be patient soon before you know it you will be driving. Relax and don't worry about it, sooner or later you will have a girlfriend and perhaps sex. Don't feel bad at all, just be patient, and ignore the others. In the mean time why not concentrate on your studies and as I said before before you know it you will be driving, and you will have what you want.

Guess what, everyone isn't doing it. It's completely normal to be a virgin at any age. Never be ashamed about it. Your body, your life. If you meet a girl this year, and you're comfortable, do what you want, but if you don't, still fine. There's a whole world outside of high school. Things will happen for you when they're supposed to.

Nope.
My little sister is 19 and still a virgin.
She's gorgous and has friends.
She just doesn't want to waste the first time on a casual thing.
She does other stuff (good lord I didn't want to know.)
Most people brag about sleeping around then they have actually done. Don't feel alone. Most of them are liars.
Alot of people dont' like Public displays of affection (PDA.)
You will date when you feel comfortable.

No, it is abnormal to not be a virgin at your age. As for what everyone is or isn't, take it with a grain, or a ton, of salt. Males, as well as females, will make up such things. Be yourself and be proud of yourself. And consider this. Males who are sexually active as teenagers are at a higher risk for testicle cancer, the #1 form of cancer for males age 15 to 35. It isn't a venereal disease, just one of the many cancers we have a chance of developing. Early sexual activity damages a still developing immune system, and though it is no guarantee, it is a chance. Treatment involves losing one or both of them, followed by radiation treatment. Caught early, it is treatable, caught late, it migrates to your brain and lungs. You slowly go insane while suffocating.

Dude yes, dont feel bad, keep your virginity as long as you can, and if you do lose it, make sure it is to a girl you will stay with, do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Dont feel bad man thats all I can say, anyone who has anything bad to say about you is because they are jealous they are not virgins, take my word on this. Live life and enjoy it, dont be pressured into doing anything, except when you want to.

Don't listen to what anybody says. You are ready when ever you are. Don't rush it cuz you might get a girl pregnant at such a young age. I bet there is a lot of ppl your age that is a virgin. Don't feel bad. Your time will come, dont worry.

yo dude, don't feel bad about it man. A lot of guys actually are still virgins at that age, even older than that. Many of them feel that they want to have the special moment with their special person. About dating, well, it's ok not to have a gf, and if you find one then great for it.

Relax...I lost my virginity at 17. Please dont try to keep up. Right now half of your classmates are sleeping with people they would even look at 19 years from now. Get some education, get some money, get a honey....you'll will be fine........Don't rush sex please
