Would You Date Someone On How They Look?

Question

Alot of people say that date a person on how they they look. What"s important they looks or how they would treat you. I'm a True Sista I would'nt date a man on how he looks. A man must present himself in a respectful manner. most of all He must be well manner if he's not. He will not treat me with the respest i deserve. If his attitude is great toward me then he is good enough for me

Most good looking guys will treat you badly when you date simply because they know they can get somebody else to replace you with ease whereas somebody not so good looking will treat you with respect and love and treasure you more. Most Good looking people are self centered.

I agree with you it is the way a man treats you and he must respect you.

I don't date only because of looks. but c'mon... you can't date someone that you aren't at least somewhat physically attracted to!

Saying you don't date according to looks is BS. True sista or not....

you may CONSIDER other things about the person and looks may not be the first priority, but if he looked like a zombie with bad teeth and a combover would you really want to make the next step in your relationship?

I think thats how a lot of women feel. Us guys however do base things off of looks much more. For me, anyway, I find myself attracted to girls with a certain look and I use that as a first filter when choosing who I'd like to date.

Personality is really really important to, like you said. But it seems like for us guys its a secondary filter after we choose based on looks. Thats not to say we filter everyone who's not a model out. I might see a girl that has a certain smile or flash in her eyes or the way she carries herself, etc.

So I guess looks get a foot in the door, but then its all personality. But then there are some girls who fly in under the radar and are cool as hell and then we find all the things we like about their looks afterwards!

wow really... you mean if he had a pimple the size of a grapefruit on his upper left nostril, or a hump in the back that made him walk like hunch back of noter dame.... you would date him as long as he treated you with upmost respect.... looks wouldn't mean "anything" to you?... I'm just asking cause I need to see where your cut off is... I'm a pretty good person I think in many areas but definitely no saint... so let me be honest and answer this "?".... yes to some degree they way a person looks does have some appeal...this is physical appearance I'm talking about not the way he dresses or sense of style. I guess I have not gotten over that shallow aspect of myself yet.

its not so much i would only go out with someone based on how they look but i seem 2 only b sexually turned on by men that look a certain way. i definetly give any man a chance and hope looks dont matter and im sure if i was in love with the man then he would b sexy as hell 2 me but so far its only the one type unfourtunately but im open 2 getting 2 know anyone i meet and ill go out on dates with them and see where it goes no matter what the looks.

It would be so easy to say yes to that question, but in reality, something just based on looks would not last past the first or second date if there was no chemistry there.

if it was me i would never do that. date someone how the look no way. look inside them what will u do with that face when the don't have manner to anyone.

i would date a guy for looks or money once, but if he treated me like less than a lady hes outta here. however at my age i dont have to worry about it.

I Don't think people date other people JUST based on their looks, but one can't deny that it is usually a factor.
