Baby tear-free shampoo and some cotton. That's all it takes. Don't put any over the counter meds in your cats eye's. Just a few drops of shampoo in a cap full of water. take cotton and soak, wipe over each eye from front to back using a new one for each eye. Rinse rinse rinse. If it worsens(swelling,pus,etc..) or lasts longer than 3 days with no improvement take to vet.

To busy to go to vets. Shame on her. First she uses flea spray which is often deadly to a cat then sprays it in the cats eyes. And to busy to bother and take the cat to the vets. She should not own a cat. Thats horrid!!!!!! The poor cat could be blinded from this. Rinse and rinse the eyes well with room temperture water.

Look on the back of the bottle. It should say what to do when contacted with eyes. If the bottle doesnt say anything, wash the eye out immediatley out with water. I know you said not to say this, but if the problem gets that much worser you should really see a vet or go to petco to get the cat checked out.

For one, call the VET immediately rather than post an ignorant inquiry on the internet!

Hi,

First thing is to rince it with warm-cold water.... Them she could use mineral oil (human pharm product) to put on his eye(s)
to smooth the possible pain... Mineral oil is also goodd for cats who have eye mucus accumulation ... way better a more gentle than water in fact...

Good luck......
