If she can be a friend, there is no better way to start a serious relationship. Go one step at time and don't take it too seriously as you go. Be playful and fun to be with, and then if she can do the same, then be greatful. One toe at a time and don't be in a hurry, and finally, talk to her about everthing but don't expect her to agree or be in awe of you. You are both just people.
