That very much depends on who you talk to.

Like Christianity, Wicca is split into different sects. For example, both Lutherans and Catholics are Christian, just as both Dianic and Alexandrian Wicca are both Wiccan with basic core tennants but different rules and regulations. There are some that are more strict while others are more open. Wicca has no high authority, no system of power, and no government.

The issue is one that many Wiccans disagree on. You may be interested in reading the page I have linked as it can explain far better than I can some of the issues both Wiccans and Christians have with Christian Wicca.

No. Clearly not. Wicaa, voo doo, cultism, and occult practices are forms of evil directly related to demons. If you are a Christian, then you should 100% stay away from these kind of practices. You are messing with a world that only wants to lie to you, lead you away and destroy you. What in the world would make you want to look into these kind of things? If you really are a Christian you wouldn't want anything to do with this stuff. I would really wonder if my conversion was real if I were you.

One last note: Wicca worships the earth and nature. This cateregorically opposes commandment 1 & 2. Exodus 20:3You will have no other Gods before me. Exodus 20:4-5 You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them."

The devil will do anything to get you worship anything but God, even things that God has created. Read your Bible more, you should know these things. If you know your scripture, you will be able to distinguish right from wrong.

Yes , wicca is a way of life. Not a religion. Just becuase you are wiccan doesn't mean you are pagan. Being wicca means you respect what the earth offers you, and you take care of it. And you work with herbs. The only rule of wicca is, never do harm, or it will come back to you in threefold. But that also works for good too, if you do good, it will come back 3 times better.

That, my friend, is what we call a paradox.

Being a Christian and practicing Wicca at the same time is completely impossible. It's like eating 5 big meals a day and being anorexic at the same time. Or like a lightbulb being off but still emiting light. Or water that's not wet. It just cannot happen.

All religions will probably have some tenets that you agree with. But would it be right to say you practice a religion when you do not believe in most of it's core beliefs?

For example, I do not believe in Jesus, the need for baptism, tithing, monotheism, heaven, hell, or the concept of being saved. But I do agree with the concept of the golden rule. Is that enough for me to say that I am practicing a little Christianity? No, because I do not believe in the core beliefs of the religion.

How many of the core tenets of the religion of Wicca do you believe in? Although you have probably read this, you may want to re-read it to see what many Wiccans believe and to help you determine how much of it you agree with.

hmmm... actually that's not a bad question. It's normal to be curious about other practices or just unsure of your own religion. I think yes you can still be a Christian but read the bible and talk to your church about any questions you may have. No doubt you'll get some pathetic, haters answering your question..... lord only knows why they decided to answer if their not going to try to help someone instead of lambast them to death.. but anyway... rest asurred that you are not the first and won't be the last to question faith and be curious about others.... that shows that you are open minded unlike some folks around here... and no I'm not an athiest I'm a christian but not one who throws rocks at glass houses especially if I live in one myself... good luck in what ever you decide

You can still believe in God, but wicca is wrong. Just because it is cool on TV, don't make it right. I admit I have seen every Charmed episode. I like the show, but that doesn't make it right.

Trusting one master
M't:6:24: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
M't:6:25: Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
M't:6:26: Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
M't:6:27: Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
M't:6:28: And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
M't:6:29: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
M't:6:30: Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
M't:6:31: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
M't:6:32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
M't:6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
M't:6:34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
GOD IS LOVE, DO NOT BE DECEIVED.
