Yes Jesus does have wife named Mary Magdalene. That was what Dan Brown saied in Da Vin Ci Code says. And some Gnostic Gospel.

But for the Bible Beliving believer, Jesus stays single.

Dan Brown pick it up from Gnostic Gospel, which was written century after Jesus death. But that teaching was not really Christian, more like Greek influence where there is a special knowledge from God.

True is, the special knowledge has already been told it all in the Bible. Not just restricted few of believers, as what the Gnostic gospel said.

The Da Vinci Code is a novel, so what the author says doesn't matter.

Also, he's not the first author to write about Mary Magdalene and Jesus "hookin up" It's actually a pretty old idea; he just decided to write a sensationalized summary of what these other people thought.

The Da Vinci Code is fiction. There is no historical evidence to support the theory that Jesus was married, though there is questionable Biblical references to their relationship. There are also the Lost Gospels and the Dead Sea Scrolls which support the theory that they did have some sort of relationship.

In Jesus's time and religious culture, a unmarried man of his age would be very odd. What it comes down to is we don't know. Most of the historical accounts we have of Jesus (mostly the Bible) tell very little about his personal life.

You may be interested in reading more about the gnostic gospels, one of which is attributed to Mary Magdalene.

Jesus was not married to Mary Magdalene. Jesus looked upon her as an Apostle. Jesus was/is the perfect human being in every sense of the word. He had one purpose on this earth, well 2 really, one was to preach the word and to show people that He was the living God, second He was here to fulfill the prophecies, He died on a cross for the sins of the world, and He resurrected so we could have everlasting life in heaven with Him. The stuff from DaVinci's Code is a hoax

There is no literature from ancient manuscripts to show that she was married. Magdala was the city she was from and since she was not married they called her Mary Magdalene instead of Mary the wife of so and so as the other married women are addressed in the bible. All the gospels show that Jesus was not married. These written by people who knew Jesus. The gnostic books dated 200-400 AD (well after Jesus and his disciples died) which the DaVinci code is based upon are not accurate and contradict what the origional apostles and disciples wrote. DaVinci is fiction and its history inaccurate. By the way, the Bride of Jesus is the New Jerusalem in the bible. (Rev 21)

The Da Vinci Code is a work of fiction penned by author Dan Brown. I would not suggest it as an credible source of knowledge on history or theology.

The Da Vinci Code is a fictional book as is the Bible. There is no proof that Jesus was married nor is there proof that he wasn't.

There is no actual evidence that Jesus was ever married. Although it would have been highly unusual for a man to not be married by the time he started his ministry at age 30. It was considered a family duty to get married and have many sons to help with the family trade.

There will never be actual evidence of Jesus being married or not. If there ever was, it has been lost to us for thousands of years.
