I was just wondering why, when someone has a conflicting belief as me, that my first reaction was anger. After I thought about it and realized what I was feeling, I thought how much better the world would be if people didn't feel this. Can any1 take a guess on why this is people's first reaction?

Because a person perceives someone stating a conflicting belief as an assault on them personally and on their intelligence and on their values about what they consider to be important.
They don't take the time to consider that the other person may or may not have any personal opinions of them and is only saying what they think about a certain subject.

Religion is a touchy subject. People don't like to be told that thier belief is wrong, and they believe theirs is so right that they just can't except anyones elses version of the unexplained. When people say things about my religion that aren't true or are belittling someone elses religion, it makes me mad. I don't know why, because I'm not sure my religion is the true one, hell I don't believe any one religion is the true one. But it makes me mad, and there really is no explaination.

I am never mad about anything unless someone tells me what I believe is wrong or not real.Then that's because I'm always angry. I stay mad. I'm a ill person all the time. Nothing to do with my beliefs
