My girlfriend broke up with me yesterday at my friends party, after i had brought her flowers and a teddy bear. She just kept avoiding me all evening until i finally get a note passed over to me telling me taht we should just be friends, which also means she lied because she promised me that she would tell me if something wasnt feeling right between us, and she didnt, she just broke up with me. I don't think she realizes how bad she hurt me, next day I woke up and i lost 5 lbs from the day of the party through the next day, i cant sleep at night, i can hardly eat without having the urge to throw it all up, ive had to force myself to eat all day. I never want to be in a relationship ever again if this is the pain that i have to go through every time, im so sick of heartbreak, i need help

wow... you're hutrting pretty bad... why don't you go to this ex-girlfriend of yours and tell her all that. and if she doesn't care then obviously she's not worth your time... or your health... just go out and have a good time. try to get your mind off it. you'll be fine.

Don't lose sleep over it. First of all, that is pretty tacky of her to breakup at a friend's party and you wasted your money buying her flowers and a teddy bear. She should have been more discreet. You will find someone better. Next time, you should take more time before getting serious with a girl.

That sucks, and I'm sorry to hear that. But look, when times are rough, you just gotta learn to move on. Yeah, it's probably not an easy thing to do, but trust me, you'll be better off just going on with your life. As far as relationships go, that's up to you, but in my opinion, it's definitely worth it, even if there are those occasional dips in the road. Best of luck in the future.

something is wrong. if she is avoiding you, then something is bothering her about your relationship. go and talk to her and just ask her is she could tell you the reason for breaking up w/ you. maybe something "bad" happened at the party> then you should go jogging or play sports to try to clear your mind or distract your feelings>

i'd call her, ask her to talk face to face, tell her you're not going to ask her back out (even if you want to or eventually will) but say you just want to know what happened..maybe if you know why, it'll ease the pain.

i'm sorry, i've been there.
