According to the Bible, because Abraham decided to take matters into his own hands and didn't have faith in God to provide a son via Sarah, there would always be animosity between Ishmael and Isaac's descendents. Many believe this is why Muslims and Jews on a global/national level do not get along. However, on an individual level they don't necessarily. For example when I was in Israel I ate at a restaurant co-owned by a Muslim and a Jew and they got along very well.

nope..they were brothers and the jewish is from isaac whose mom is sara..muslims dont hate jews, as u can see, who is killing the muslims..i hate jews bcoz they attack the muslims and i am sad that i am only praying for my Muslim brothers..in Islam, jealousy is not counted..ismael was never jealous of isaac, of them, ismael is the elder..and ismael with abraham built the kaabah..In the quran,there is nothing that states ismael is jealous of isaac and there is an ayat which states that 'the yahud and the nasrani will never be pleased with u untill u follow them'
