dean_estelle makes a valid point, because some diseases are race-specific. For example, unless there is interbreeding, only black people carry sickle cell anemia. Therefore, if someone who is not black doesn't want to risk the chance they will have a child who suffers from this debilitating ailment, the solution is obvious: they should not mix with blacks.
Also, children come to the forefront again, because inevitably, mixed children have to deal with a greater degree of racism than those who are of can pass for being purely from one race. The child has no racial identity, so even members from their own racial background will shun them, & they will have no true heritage to call their own. Being of mixed blood myself, I have dealt with this, because there are full-blood Indians who don't accept me because of my white lineage, even from my own tribe, & there are whites who consider me an outcast because of my Cherokee heritage. Luckily, I live in an area where I don't deal with this much, but I even have aunts who think less of me than my cousins because of my background. I'm strong enough to deal with it, but I don't think it is something children should be subjected to if it can be avoided.
Finally, the issue of common heritage can be viewed from another angle. If a black woman & a white man date, get married, & have kids, the struggle for inclusion in family events will be stressful, to say the least. While the man & woman may be fine with this, their respective families may look at what they have done as disrespectful, & ostracize them & their offspring. This problem will be compounded by not understanding each other's traditions. For example, a white man is hardly going to feel included or comfortable at a kwanzaa celebration, as most whites don't even have any idea what kwanzaa is, & some aren't even sure if they are pronouncing it correctly. Also, I'm sure there are things white families will do during celebrations black people wouldn't understand.
Ultimately, the issue is larger than race. Commonality in a relationship is essential. This can be applied to race, religion, ethnic background, or moral viewpoint. I would say a Catholic & a Jehovah's Witness are as likely to have trouble forging a solid relationship as a black & a white. The same could even be said for a conservative & a liberal. You've undoubtedly heard of the saying "the ties that bind"? Well, those ties are commonality, & without common ground, what relationship can hope to survive. I'm certain people will probably read this & think racist, but for those with an open mind, I hope this helps, & makes them consider all sides of the issue.

The same way i feel bout balck men datin white women. I mean most famous people you see wit white gurls but theres no luv for us we're stuck as a single mom of 3 wit 3 different daddies and we don't get luv. (not all just majority.) I mean i have no prob wit white people its just we hardly get luv. WE prostitute for money because are babies fathers don't pay childs support there more likely to be wit a white gurl. It hurts it really does. i mean why can't a black man look at a black woman as beautiful? I mean there are lots of pretty white women but there are lots of pretty black woman to people just don't see are beauty. To be completely honest i think black men think white women are the prize. Not us black folk. Come on everyone is beautiful in there own way but no one takes out the time to luv. Man.

Not a problem, the more the races become mixed, the more peacefull the world will be. Dogs and cats don't care about colour. I think the fear in most people that might be opposed is fear of the unknown, like different customs. They need to get over it and learn about each other. Love is all that really matters.

People get so hung up about race and colour!
I really dont understand?
Everyone is an individual! I am indian, but it doesnt mean I like all indians! or white people like all white people or black people like all black.
So its really stupid to classify or to have pre conceptions about anyone!
Dont generalise on race, that really is another form of racism!
Open your mind, dont see a colour but see a person, and trust me life will be far more exciting!
Goodluck!

Doesn't bother me at all, if anything I'd just think to myself 'I wonder how many people give them problems?' course I think that when I see most interacial couples. Of course, if he's an ugly white man.. I might wonder what's wrong with the girl's eyesight LoL

(jk sweety)

Have fun, date who you like.
