I want to ask out a girl at school, but she's part of the more popular crowd and I'm known as kind of a loser. I'm not ugly or anything, so I'm not self concious about how I look I'm just really nervous because she's really well known and I'm not. What should I do????

Even though society today may confuse us, there is no just thing as popular. This girl just may have an outgoing personality that attracts her to other people, such as yourself. Don't be intimidated by her "status", she might feel the same way you do. If you feel that way, just go up to her when she is alone. Be like her _insert name here_ I seen you around school, you seem like a cool chick, wanna hang out sometime. The worst she can do is laugh in your face. But at least you tried. You might be surprised, she might say sure. Don't be afraid because you're a "loser" and she's "popular".

We gotta be related. My advice, go for someone one step at the most 2 steps below the popular crowd. They will usually like you for who you are. And arent that bad either. But I have never had any luck, maybe you will.

wow, im in the same position, i dont play a sport and im not in a band, but one girl i would hit on outside of school where my shitty reputation doesnt matter, for me its not worth it to date durring the school year, i havent had a conversation with a girl at highschool but get laid on vacations and at camp, highschool dating is so slow

just go for it. plenty of people from different cliques date.
i'm a nerd, and my bf is a jock, it's no big deal. and if she turns you down just because some other kids don't like you, you'll know you're too good for someone that judgemental.

When you approach her you should be yourself, use some of your good charms to grasp her attention. Don't be afraid to tell her how you feel, and don't be too honest; make sure she can handle alll your feelings even if you have to take it slow.
