The number in a cleanroom rating indicates the maximum number of particles of 0.5 microns size per square foot that are allowed.

So tests in your 100k cleanroom should indicate no more than a hundred thousand particles of that size. As far as cleanrooms go, that's one of the less clean ones.

Means there's less than 100k particles the size of 0.5 microns per cubic foot. Go do a search on the internet on cleanroom classes.

It's a measure to enter the cleanroom, very strict for 100K. Full cover of jumpsuit from head to toe. Must wear mask, gloves and goggle! So uncomfortable!!!
