I would go around to the churches in the area and see if there is interest. Then I would go the the library and supermarkets to put up posters to meet somewhere, if interested in a group. Once you have a core group, find out what are their interests. Go from there. Making a Yahoo!Group is also great, but you will either need to be the Moderator or find someone in the group who is interested in being the Moderator.

If you want to start a networking group, start out small. Make a Yahoo-group, post for a meeting at your local library and put a notice in the paper about it. Get to know some other families and grow from there. Good luck!
