I've been having this major crush on this guy for a year now,but I am never the brave one to say it out.Besides,he used to tell me about some girl he liked in school(we're in the same school). So I was just keeping my thoughts all to myself.However,I always did my best to help when he has problems to stuggle with.Slowly,we turned into two very close friends that we can rant out everything to each other.Then suddenly,one day in July,he told me that he was starting to have feelings for me and asked me if I wanna be his gf.I was so happy,but at the same time,thousands of questions poped out of my brain:does he really like me as a special someone? Or was it cuz I reminded him of someone he used to like? Or was it just illusions he was having cuz we've been spending lots of time together(talk on the phone/online,study for exams together etc.)?Did he get confused between friendship and affection cuz we are getting so close to each other??I have no idea at all.Please tell me what I should do.

talk to him about all of this. he is still your friend. and after all shouldn't your significant other also be your best friend? you already know that you get along and have things in common. but keep in mind, there is no going back. once you have become more than friends, will you be able to go back to just friendship if things don't work out?

ya know, don't put a 'label' on what you are...just keep enjoying your time together, being best friends! if it's supposed to happen it will!
but thinking that you need to define what you are may cause unnecessary stress and possible awkwardness. ... and that's never fun.
