After about two weeks your hair will get less curly. Then it's more beautiful :) so be a little patient ;)

Slather your hair in conditoner, or a strong hand lotion. Sleep with it overnight that way (wear a shower cap or else use an old pillow or pillow cover) then wash it out the next day, AFTER combing it with a boarbristle hairbrush first. Any thick hairbrush will do but natural boar-bristle is best.

Repeat it again for a few days.

That will help relax it a lot, but probably won't take it completely out. A hair salon can straighten your hair in about 3 to 6 weeks after the intial perm. Some salons won't do it though, because there is such a high chance of your hair breaking off after a perm, and then a harsh straightening agent. Good luck with it.

You can have a straightner put on your hair, but not yet, you should wait a couple of weeks - but make sure you go back to the hair salon, don't do anything at home yourself, because your hair could fall out - Try putting a real heavy duty conditioner on your hair and then blow dry it straight in the mean time - let your salon know that you are not happy with the perm - and ask them how long you should wait before going back in to the salon - you will have to pay for the straightner though

From my experience with the same problem, I have gotten another perm and combed it through my hair. It will take the curl right out. Be sure and use a good conditioner afterwards though as it will be dry. This will help protect it from damage.

Oh mate, I feel for you on this one...
Ask your hairdresser for a reverse perm (or straightener) but...bear in mind any salon worth its salt will refuse to do this on the grounds that it will wreck you hair by over-processing it. You may get the girl who did the perm for you to reluctantly agree to do this against her better judgement (be it on your head...literally) but you won't be the first person that they will have dealt with for this problem.
Failing this....take heart
This happened to me once - I went straight out and bought some strightening perm from the chemist and prayed that my hair didn't fall out. It was a risk - but it worked.

With a good pair of clippers, you can get rid of that perm in about 5 minutes!

eh people still get perms? Didnt that go out of style with the 80's.. next time buy some big fat curlers and curl your hair yourself so that your hair tumbles down with big wavy curls... Try going to the beauty saloon and see if they can straighten it.. good luck...

Happened to me a few years ago. Use a good conditioner and allow it to sit on your hair for a while. Wash it off and use straighteners or if its long enough tie it up. With all this heat it will cure two problems.
