Actually, it sounds like there is a deeper reason for you two breaking up: neither one of you is happy anymore. If she were still happy with you, she would still want to be with you. Likewise, her rejection of you has made you unhappy to the point you are considering ending this relationship. For whatever reason you decide to break up, she'll undoubtedly think of you as a jerk. Still, it really sounds like you'll be doing both her & yourself a favor in the long run by not prolonging a loveless relationship. If you do break up, end all contact, & try to find someone who will tend more to your needs. One of my best friends prolonged a relationship like yours for nearly 3 years before things ended, & now he is with a woman who treats him like gold. He could have been with her months ago, too, had he not stayed with a touch-me-not who didn't love him. Wonder who you're missing out on dating?

the three biggest reasons for relationships failing are: 1. financial problems 2. sexual problems 3. communication problems. actually communication is the most important. you must be able to talk about everything. if you can't sit down with your partner and have a reasonable discussion and resolve it promptly, you have a long rocky road ahead, of you. if this is what you want, (some like the drama) continue with her and keep asking your questions of others instead of her about ya'lls relationship. otherwise find someone who can give you 1., 2., & 3.

Apparently she is the one with the problem, not you. Move on to someone better.
