If a lesbian girl is dating a straight guy, and at the same time trying to change her sexual orientation to straight ... is this wrong?

I don't think so, but she could cross a line. For example, if he asks her if she has ever dated a woman, she shouldn't lie about it. Also, if she is still sleeping with women behind his back, she is cheating & that's wrong. However, if she truly is trying to become a straight woman & give up women, I don't see a problem with her dating a man. This would probably be an essential step for her to get used to being straight. If she's been dating women, how else will she start to enjoy dating men instead unless she dates men? As long as she is honest about her past, & doesn't cheat, then I think most men would be okay with this situation.

She must be open and honest with him.
You don't have to tell everything at once, but he should know about your previous types of relationships.
If right now you need to experiment and do some figuring ask him if that's alright with him. It just may be and that would be so helpful for you.
I don't think you should be "trying" to be anything. Figure out your feelings and desires and self respect.

no it's not deceptive. if she has the intent to be straight, then she's doing what she believes she needs to do in order to see if she can be with a straight guy.

It's not wrong, but she should be honest and up front with the guy. If he finds out down the road, he'll either be angry, hurt, or feel used if she didn't tell him sooner than later.

If she knows she is lebian then why would she be trying to change? Isn't that to say that she is lying to her boyfriend and herself?
