do guys really feel comfortable resting their heads on a girl's shoulder? or do they have to at least like the girl to do it?

I like it. I love all forms of physical intimacy with a woman. It makes the sexual parts more intense.

If a guy rest his head on your shoulder that's a way of showing you that he is atleast a little interested in you somewhere unless you have been friends for a long time then he is just comfortable with you.

Guys prefer that girls do this. They might return the gesture at the same time with another affirmative action though. Girls are usually the ones who make the first move physically, but most of the time it is too subtle for a guy to notice. So, they try to make a move, and (I'm a guy) it's a hard thing to do - we never know what we should do.
Anyhow, it IS a good sign, and it's good he knew enough to do this rather than running his hand up under your dress.

A warm shoulder is very comforting. I like the lady to rest on my shoulder and I will rest my head on hers. You have to feel comfortable and I don't think you would feel comfortable if the person didn't like you a least a little.

Girls smell pretty, and they have comfortable soft shoulders... usually. Of course, most girls believe that we have a larger bundle of nerves between our legs than atop our heads, and they'll mace us for trying to touch them.
For this reason, it takes a certain amount of trust, or hopefulness for a man to try the whole resting on you thing. At least liking a girl is generally a safe bet, because we don't like either hate us, and might crack our skulls open if we touch them, or are desperate to love us, and would try to rape us if we got near enough to rest on their shoulders.
Somebody rested on your shoulder? I think he likes you. Maybe he likes you but only as a friend. Maybe he likes you like a sister. Maybe he likes you, and wants to get nekked with you in the middle of town square... But if he's putting his head on your shoulder, I'm pretty sure he likes you at least a little.

Guys usually prefer girls to rest their heads on the guy's shoulders. Mostly because girls have longer, softer hair that's usually clean and sweet smelling. A guy won't lean on your shoulder if he doesn't like you.

He is very comfortable with you. It might mean he is fond of you; or it could have been a simple "I am weary, and you are here" gesture. I think it's kinda neat...but don't read too much into it. "It is what is." It would take more than this to signify something deeper. He is probably very good natured; it might have even been a humorous gesture...and he was having a good time. But if I were you; I would want to give him another look...he sounds charming.

Well Generally this occurs either
1. He feels comfortable to be with you
2. He is tired
3. He likes you
But for the most part a it occurs between friends and yes sometimes if a guy really likes her then he would do it

It does feel really good to rest on a girls shoulder or when a girl rests on a guys. It feels realy relieving

He must feel comfortable around you to do that. Thats the only thing I can think of right now.
Its a good sign. Means he's gentle.
