Google Earth is the best you can do. This will provide still images of (almost) every location on earth, and you can zoom in from the entire planet to the roof of your own house. The images that they use are a few months to a few years old.

Do a search for "Google Earth". It should be the first thing that comes up. It has instructions, etc. Its pretty cool.
