Let me add this for all those people who write things against Christians in the chat room.
1. Whether you believe it or not, God created you.
2. Whether you believe it or not, He did it out of love.
3. Whether you believe it or not, He provided a way to eternity.
4. Whether you believe it or not, one day you WILL be judged.
5. Whether you believe it or not, the only way into eternity with the Creator is through Jesus Christ, who was sacrificed on a cross for YOU.
6. Whether you believe it or not, when you stand in judgement, your attorney is either Christ or Satan (your choice). And if your attorney is Christ, He has already paid your debt and you will be found innocent. If your attorney is Satan, you will spend eternity with him.
7. The only reason Christians try to tell you the truth is because Christ told them it was their responsibility to share the Good News of Him with others.
8. Christians aren't trying to give you a hard time, they are only trying to obey God.
9. In their effort to obey God, some Christians make a nusiance of themselves and try to force choices. That isn't what God wants. He just wants every Christian to tell the Gospel Story and leave the results to God Himself.
10. Christ said that Christians will be made fun of and people will get angry at them for saying the truth, but that they should expect it and not complain.
11. He purposefully made choosing Christ a matter of FAITH, not of proof. If you choose because it is proven to you, then you have not come to Him on faith, and that is unacceptable. So if you are tossing out that old challenge of proving the existance of God, you can forget it because thats not the way it works.
12. Its OK if you choose to reject him, but it is NOT OK for Christians to be silent.
13. So go ahead and make your choices, and I mean quite seriously that it is perfectly OK to reject God, but be aware that you will one day pay the price for that rejection and by then it will be too late to make the change.
14. I wish you well in your search for the truth.

Well, I am agnostic and Judgemental and so when I meet someone I am not going to take just their religion into consideration. I try to understand every facet of a person. Yes not having the same beleif system as an other person is a strike against them but I am not going to try and say they are wrong and I am right, It just doesn't work that way.
I am of the thinking that one should not go around telling other people "how it is." Live life according to your own personal morals and if someone wants to find out about your personal beleif systems then they will ask you.
And Yes I do like christians. But not because they are christians I just like people. with all their faults and strengths. I find trying to understand other peoples viewpoints interesting. A lot of times I will not agree with them but that doesn't mean they are wrong, just that we disagree.

A lot of internet users are atheist jerks (I'm not exempt from that generalization, by the way). And a lot of good natured Christians aren't going to be cruising the web. Yahoo! allows us to rant without getting trash-talked by the real heavy-hitters on the internet, who don't hang out on websites with such colorful interfaces. But I'm a good atheist. I believe in love and peace and never wear no shoes, lol. I think that we should all peacefully coexist without letting religious beliefs get in the way, but that's obviously not going to happen, because it looks like you're already being trash talked by some of the "bad" atheists out there. I'm sorta like Bob Marley, I'm happy with sitting in my corner and jammin' all through the night. o.o

sounds like that makes some sense. I am catholic, but I don't practice my religion and I am at a point where growing up i truely believed in God, now I don't know for sure. I don't ever ask religious questions because there is no right answer. I do, however have a problem with people who worship the "devil"

I come here to get a perspective of religious minds and to help others in other areas such as computers. To me, I don't believe God exists, I know. He is everything we feel, see, experience, etc. Not some imaginary man in the sky. It's ignorant to think all believers in God see Him/it the same way, as a man in the sky, which a lot of people don't.

We're afraid of the direction this country is heading, afraid of losing our freedoms because you vote according to a 2000 year old book of fairy tales. We want you to take a close look at your faith, and see it for the silly superstition that it is, and quit trying to tell us how to live.

Nobody has the right to shove their belief down someone else's throat. Should someone end up *here* that seems to be checking out this particular topic, maybe it's so they can prove *their* point...

lol. No for me it is not whether I like someone or not, it is because just like every other subject I find it interesting. Do you ever read or study about other cultures, other religions, history, science? I just like to discuss and learn about things, I read about crime but am not a criminal nor do I have any fondness for criminals.
