Good for you for being aware that you are prejudiced. I am not quite clear if you envy the man or the girl, but is is the result of what you were taught as a kid. People are not born biased, they have to learn it, usually from their parents and family. Eventually you will come to see that love doesn't care about skin color. If you were a practicing Christian, you would remember that LOVE is the foundation of Christianity. It is not for you to judge people, that is the role Christians have assigned to God. On the plus side, being perfect is also exclusive to God, so it is OK if you, as a human are not perfect. If you have any problems with the way humans act, remember that Christians believe humans were created in God's image. All of us. This includes you, so you are not inferior in any way. You have taken the first step in growing up--recognizing the problem. Now take it a step at a time, and get to know people of other races and cultural backgrounds. You will find that they are not as scary as you may now believe. Go for it!

I'm a white girl who has been with a black jamaican man for 6 years! We don't see ourselves a different colors we see each other as people!! If you are so "christian" you would treat everyone the same way!Maybe you should think for yourself instead of worrying about what your "christian fellows" have to say!!!

I don't think it's a matter of inferiority...I'll agree, it's weird...but in my case....that's because of where I grew up...in an all white town. I wouldn't say you're racist, unless it's simply because he is black. The truth is, some girls are just simply into other races...so are some guys. Is it wrong? Not in my opinion, but don't let it make you feel inferior, you just simply need to wait for the right girl.

Psychomaniac? Nah. Your just feeling envious.
Think about this fellow Christian.
King Solomon is in the bloodline of Jesus Christ.
He writes in Song of Solomon that he is black.
The Ethiopian Prince Baptized by Philip was likely black.

Stop blaming others for the circumstances in your life.
Do all things as unto the Lord. Be a blessing to someone instead of a complainer to God.

I am not sure why you feel inferior because of anyone else's relationship but try to remember that God is not partial and in every nation the man who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him. Also, remember that we are all one race--the human race. Eve was the mother of all living and it is only because of Nimrod that some people appear differently. Had he obeyed God and allowed people to naturally scatter throughout the earth, the genetic factors would have been much less pronounced.

I don't understand, why would you feel inferior seeing a black man with a white girl? It doesn't have anything to do with you. I think we need more details about who you are white/black? There are blacks who wouldn't want their children dating whites, doesn't mean they're prejudice at all.

The "they're taking our men" response is very common. It's frightening to think about winding up alone. But you are equal. You are good enough. You are not inferior. I'll pray for you, and if you ever want someone to talk to, send me an e-mail marykay.lady@yahoo.com.

Well, there is old testament law that forbids Jews to marry other "kinds". There is this one passage when they do anyways, and God kills those who do. However, why feel inferior? That is old testament stuff. The new covenent commands us to love our neighbor. Who is our neighbor? Whoever needs mercy that we can give. So basically you must show mercy to the mixed couple. Try buying them a mayonaise sandwich and collored greens for a gift. See what happens.
