Well, earth cannot die that easily. We only live on the sufrace of the earth. There is a lot of land underground, which if (somehow) brought to the surface, will be able to support life.
The greatest fear of global warming is not the melting of the ice caps and the drowning of the earth (that can be countered thanks to technology), but it is the destruction of the ozone which cannot be fixed.

i feel that in a century the earth will be at about 85*F at the lowest and that civilization will seize to exist because of the extrmeme heat.Its sad and depressing.
