Ideal is 8 weeks.
They can be weaned at 6 weeks, but they need to learn a lot of socialization, how to be a dog, and how to play with others, how to mind mom. during the next 2 weeks. ..
It will make a huge difference in how well mannered and trainable they are for thei new owners.
It also gives you time to give them their second shots and wormers.

Puppies should stay with their mothers and littermates until at least 7 weeks of age. When Mom starts weaning them, she teaches them the basics of self-control. "I said no more nipple! Go eat your food!" The littermates teach bite-inhibition. If a puppy plays too hard and rough or hurts another pup, the injured party will scream and game's over. That's no fun for anyone, so they learn to play appropriately.
During their 4-7 weeks, they should get socialization with gentle humans, getting used to being softly touched all over, mouths, feed, tails, legs) and playing with rolled balls, squeaky toys, experiencing different types of 'ground' (grass, carpet, tile, wood, etc.), as well as experiencing different sounds like door bells, music, being spoken to.
The more positive life experiences a puppy has the more confident and relaxed it will be for the rest of it's life. And the lessons Mom and it's littermates teach it cannot be replicated by humans, so they are very important and valuable.

6-8 weeks
removing them sooner means they miss a critical socialization stage
if the litter is large (more than 6 pups) you can remove the bigger pups a week earlier than the littler pups
vaccinate all pups before they go to new homes - ideally take the pups to an SPCA or other shelter who can screen potential new owners - you will not be able to tell a good owner from a bad one - at the very least ask if they have a fenced yard and refuse if they dont - be willing to go and check - seriously though most people can lie to you and will - only the worst type of people take free pups - good owners always go to SPCA or animal shelter first - which means its only creeps and people who really dont want to invest too much into a pup who will take free ones (meaning they dont care later if its sick or whatever)

8 weeks or 2 months (same thing) don't give the puppies to ANYONE until they are 8 weeks old. DO NOT! or they will die cuz they don't have the milk from their mother.

Depends on the breed of the dog (small vs. large). No less than 8 weeks is a good rule of thumb. Sometimes 7 weeks if it is a larger dog.

If you are good, 8 weeks. If you are NOT GOOD, you will give them away before then.
Then spay the dog.
Larger breeds go NOT go earlier!! They mature mentally and physically at a slower rate than small breeds.

8 weeks and even at that the puppies and mom yearn for each other. It is a bittersweet experience.
