That's probably why nothing has been done yet. The Gov't is afraid of chaos and riots.

I think there might be some idiots who would go KKK and run around lynching anyone who looked "ferrin." But otherwise, I don't think there would be much of a backlash except politcally. However, I do think it would send a message out there that if you just hold out long enough, amnesty will be granted, so come on over. The legal route will get you nowhere. The illegal route is the only way to go.
I also think that if I were that poor African or Asian waiting for years for an immigration interview, I would give up in utter dispair. How fair is it that they should be passed by for someone who has broken the law? They don't have the option of sneaking across any border. And it's not just Mexicans who sneak across the border. It's anyone who has at least enough cash to get them to Mexico, which rules out the poor African and most Asians. Maybe that's where the racism lies. Maybe that's why "pro-illegals" are so pro illegal. Maybe they don't want poor Africans and Asians immigrating legally to our country.

What will happen more will come. Amnesty was granted before so now we have 4 times as many crossing the border. SInce the amnesty could only be granted by an act of congress, why would they impeach him?

Bush and Cheney already gave the Carlyle crew a loose bypass. Bin encumbered wont ever be arrested with suggestions from the Bush relations, they're making way too a lot money off of the drama. it ought to be hilarious if at the same time as Hillary will develop into President, she receives him interior of a month or so of her inauguration.

If he did, the GOP would pay the consequences for years and years to come ... and yes, there would be civil unrest ... we'd see more Mexican flags flying on top of ours ... people would be mega pissed off, and rightly so ... and all hell would break loose .. any hope this administration would have that this will all die down because people in general have short memories will be proven wrong ... and the Americans to a man or woman (minus the pro criminal element) will tell them where to shove their super highway ... all in all not a pretty sight ....

There was an amnesty in 1986 and nothing happened. The economy didn't collapse and it didn't stop illegal immigration.
You won't see any big change this time either.

the hard-working "illegals" will have a chance to apply for better jobs, apply at better schools, get more benefits, and it is possible ,almost guaranteed that the american economy will rise. I don't think theyll be riots, if there is, it would be created by the low-lifes who want to keep down other races.
