When we went on holiday 6 weeks ago, it made us laugh! What made us really laugh was when people were sent back!
After all, what is the point in hurrying - you have your seats already allocated, so you cannot improve where you sit!
I am a smoker and my husband and I just took the warning as time for one more cigarette before boarding! Let's make those idiots who think rushing makes the flight take off quicker wait for longer! (and I hope that makes sense to you!)

First they call frequent travelers, then disabled people, then moms with lap kids then they board from row 270 to 300. Still if your in number 1 seat, you will still see him start standing up.
When the plane stops and the unfasten seatbelt sign happens, everyone jumps up for no reason. The gate agent is driving the jetway to the plane door. Sometimes you get a bad driver and people wonder why it's taking so long.

Yes, I always found this very funny. It actually defies logic. What do they expect out of this? It's not like the people who get in last gets left out. Hey, as long as you ARE there, the plane wont take off without you.
And it's not like the people who board first gets the best seat in the house. The seats are all pre-determined.
"Hey, captain, how can you give that woman the window seat? That's MY seat!! Look at my ticket. It says so right... here.See?"
"Oh, I can see that, sir. But you see, that lady came first. She risked her neck rushing past 300 irate passengers. You can surely see she deserves it, right?"
"oh, ok, why didn't you say so. Sorry, madam. Have a nice flight"

Simple annoucement like U r now welcome to board the flight will help PAX not to panic. One of my collegue delayed boarding cos she didnt like the idea of rushing so she is asked ARE U TRAVELLING in Business class.
If there is Aero bridge U have to just have to wait.
And why do they stand up immediately once the flight is landed. Even the belt sign is not switched off. You dont even know which way is your exit.
Its ok for frequent flyers they have to get connecting flight and they r just with one cabin luggage. Others have to again wait for their luggage on ground so wots the point in standing in aisles.

Yes it does seem illogical, however with the numbers who insist on taking all their baggage into the cabin I suppose that this is to enable them to put the large bags, that should be ing the hold, into the overhead lockers and leave no space for proper hand baggage.

It's getting off when people bug me. I could got myself off quickly if some t***** hadnt made sure he got up right in front of me, I wouldnt have minded if he got straight off as well, but he took ages getting his stuff out of the overhead locker and held everyone up for ages. How ignorant!

They're fighting for the overhead cabin space, so they can stow their duty free shopping and other non-essentials that they will never need for the journey.

Yeah it sucks and old people are the worst offenders. They push their way. I dont give a damn and usually end up last who cares where you sit.
