Yup, body language. Master that and you, too, can lie like a pro. You also need to guage the cadence of your speech, too quick or slow to answer and you're busted. The hardest part is maintaining normal eye contact, someone who is lying is MORE likely to look you directly in the eye, to see if you're buying the load of crap they're slinging. So pay attention to how you speak, move and look during normal conversation, file it away for later- it's handy.
What gives me away when I lie? Nothing. Seriously. I've also learned to control my pulse and can lower my blood pressure by thinking about it. How do I know that one? Documented by an optometrist when measuring the pressure in my eye... so I guess I could pass a lie detector test , too. I'd like to try that as an experiment!

It doesn't do any good to lie because you will mess up one time and get caught...You tell one lie and then you have to tell another and another etc. ...You can always tell when someone is lying by watching their eyes ...IF they are lying they will NOT look directly at you...and they will fumble around with their clothes or whatever

I don't lie that much, and when I do I get away with it. so I'm not sure what I do that could give it away.

It's hard to tell when I lie b/c I have lied most of my life. If anything I stutter, but I'm not sure.

I consider myself a pretty good lier, but I've never seen myself lying so I couldn't tell. =/ I'd assume there's some sort of facial expression that gets triggered, I've heard of some people winking when they do, others twitching, wriggling their nose, you don't realize yourself doing it though.

umm..i think this would only be for me.. i cant make eye contact and i tend to frown a little when i'm telling a lie :-s
