Just to aviod confusion, I hate alchol. Heres your medical answer minus the lecture. Alcohol is basically poison no matter what age you are. It is extreamly hard on your liver to process it out among many other things. The worst part is that at 13 years old your organs and body are still developing forcing you body and organs to undergo an already difficult process like filtering poison from your veins at that young an age while still developing can stunt or stop your body or organ development and require you to live the rest of your life with any one of many medical disabilities. And thats just your liver. If you wanna drink, wait until you are at least old enough. thats why the age limit is there. Good luck and be safe.

Little kids and alchohol. It screws you up, that's what it does, it kills brain cells beleive it or not and causes false judgment, death, dumbassinatiss, liver failure.....ect, I never drink that crap and i never will, just wait until your body is more mature for the beating. the brain correct me if im wrong stops developing about 21, so if u want to screw ur brain up, go ahead, Don't let anyone pressure you into drinking alchohol or w/e cause i think that's plain stupid. " oh well ur Stupid if u dont drink" Ahhh screw you so what!?, Didn't know if u know this but more teenagers are dying ever here than in iraq and were the soldiers are. The deaths conclude of smoking, drug use, alchohol , and other substances. if u want to be in the group that goes and kills there someone else or themselves go ahead. I disapprove of teens in general using alcohol. Obviously, ppl are out of countrol with it. But yeah, It can do alot to a 13 yearold.

Not to mention the fact that you are WAY more likeley to become an alcoholic by drinking at such a young age, thirteen year olds lack good judgement and decision making skills, which, when given alcohol, become even worse, so of course, the consequences of bad decision making escalate as well. ie, pregnancy because of drunk sex, alcohol poisoning, minor in posession violation, ect.

MUST I GO ON? DON'T DO IT! One of my friends almost died from alcohol poisoning at the age of fourteen. She was four times over the legal adult limit and was stripping for all the guys at her house. She puked all over the place and stained the carpet. She nearly died and woke up hours later in the hospital. When she came to, she puked some more. Then later on she couldn't even taste the food she was eating and had to go to an Al Anon meeting. Do you want this to happen to you??!

alcohol is a poison. It kills cells. That is why it is used as a disinfectant, it kills bacteria. Drinking alcohol at that age attacks developing cells (which are particularly vulnerable) which can lead to stunted growth, It also attacks liver cells that cannot be regrown. The same with braincells.

In addition to the impaired judgment that it can bring to everyone, at 13 it can seriously impair brain growth and development. Not trying to scare you, but those are the facts.

Your body is still developing at that age,so it may not react well to alcohol because it has so much going on already. Also, you may develop a dependency because you are not able to judge when enough is enough.
