You got to use the ear wash and ear drops combo.

Drop a couple drops of anti-ear mites oil inth othe ear and massage the canals thoroughly, you wull see some brownish sediments in about three days, thats time to flush the canals with the ear wash, try something more reactive and the blobs of browns should start floating out.

Repeat every three days, I am sure you have a happy doggie or cat in two weeks. Goodl uck.

Ticks???? Pull them off. Mites..another story. Clean ears out well with mineral oil three times a week for several months, or get something from the vet for quicket results!!!!

A source of heat like a blown out match works best. But the cleaning and oils advice is good to keep them out.
I would find out where they are coming from myself.

Apply liquid soap liberally all over the ticks---they should "back out" on their own within a couple of minutes.
