Well; - when they spit the first time, let them see you wipe it off of you,and then see what they do...But if they do nothing then just be kind about it and say "Do you realize that you are spitting on me when you are talking to me?"
And then they might do something about it, cause some people really don't realize that they are spitting on you...
If you are good friends with this person they really will not mind if you crack a joke and say " Man I am gonna have to start toteing a Unbrellea when I am around you" cause you be spitting on me alot when you talk"...I really don't want to change my perfume or colone just yet ...I like Aqualava--Not Salava...

you take a step back or say a joke like " say it don't spray it" and laugh . Try not to be to mean because some people can't help it and they tend to spit alot. i had a friend that used to spit all the time and the spit would be at the edges of his mouth and that was kind of grows so one day i told him that it bothered me and that if it was ok if we had a few feet of distance between us .
just try not to hurt the persons feelings treat someone like you would like to be treated.

1- step back
2- even if they didn't spit on you, wipe your face
3- step back
4-keep a smile and give a little eye shock look (like a fast blink)every time he/she spits
5- tell them politly (depending on the person) that they are spitting on you. Don't say "say it, don't spray it" b/c it's offensive to many people..don't take the chance
good luck! (and remember...some people just don't change..therefore beware)

Don't stand/sit within range of his spit missiles - extend the three foot rule to greater than whatever his average spittle radius is. Or walk and talk - he will have to walk next to you, mostly face forward, and you will not be within range.

I've had the exact sam thing happen to me. Simply back up and politely say;
"Sorry, but I have a cold (or I feel like I'm starting to come down with something) and I wouldn't want you to catch it."

I had a friend who used to do that to me.. I told her that she is kinda grossing me out because she is always spitting on me... She wasn't bothered by it and guess what? She don't spit on me anymore.

always stand on the side of them and when they move in close lean back.... play off like you have bad breath or something and don't want to offend them

If I don't know them I keep backing up. If it's family or friends I will surely say something because they might not know that they are doing it.
