Spend more time with him and talk sensibly so he sees how you are maturing... but remember that you are only young once and while it seems like forever to you (you don't know how lucky it is to feel like you have all the time in the world), understand that childhood is over relatively quickly and you WILL be an adult for a very LONG time. Let him enjoy his "baby" for a little longer and soon enough you will have years and years together as adults.

Be glad that you have a father that actually cares about you ...There are some kids in this world who wish there father or mother was better to them...So consider your self one of the lucky ones and let your dad know that you love him and that he is appreciated...Don't complain about it..In a few years you will be moving on and your father will miss you very much and you will miss him too...So let him spoil you ...nothing wrong with that

You have a fine line you need to walk here. First of all, be glad that your dad cares enough about you to baby you. That is just his way of protecting you....he thinks! Here's what you need to do, get time alone with your dad and speak lovingly to him and tell him that you really like it that he protects you and sort of baby's you. Then tell him that part of him allowing you to grow up is allowing you to begin to take steps on your own, without him always being there to protect you. Tell him that you will always come back to him when you need his protection and advice, but that you are ready to grow up more, and need a little bit of room to expand your wings. Good Luck

Enjoy it! He won't be there to baby you forever. Appreciate it now because before you know it you'll be grown away at college or something and you'll miss it.

Just tell him that you are a TEEN and that you are not a kid anymore. It might hurt his feelings but that is the only way
