Sounds like you were right to send that boring ***** on her way, even if it was by accident. She's certainly got other friends to be bitchy and boring with.
Shoot, even Jesus traveled and went to parties and drank wine and made furniture!

Well im a christian women and i dont live a boring life like you are picturing. Being a believe is something awesome and knowing that you can count on your family from church. Know you have to understand that you are going to meet all sort of people so you have to be a little bit more respectful towards others. Like the meeting that you went with your friend and they were discussing if they could see "R" movies. What do you see in rated "R" movies nothing but naked chicks having sex, violence, hustling drugs, violent language, etc. You dont want to pay so much money to see people get killed , just turn the news and you will see that. Instead do something positive and appreciate you friend.

Well you see, it's like this. If you had a hobby that you were really interested in or a musical group or a sports team or something like that, and that's all you wanted to talk about, then people might make the same comment about you if they didn't share your interest.
People who are new to the faith often are so excited about being loved by God and being saved by Jesus that they don't want to talk about anything else. As they mature in Christ, they hopefully have the same joy and excitement but they then move on to the point where they want to have a basis of relationship with people who don't yet know Jesus as their Savior and so they open up their lives to other things that they can enjoy and talk about while still living a life that honors God.

I consider myself a hardcore Christian. I stay out as late as 3AM almost every weekend, doing "good" things and I'm still having the time of my life! Like just tonight, I went to Starbucks with 10 other people and when they closed, we had a dance party in the parking lot until 11. I think it's silly when people say Christians are boring, I think God Himself is so fun! I was just in Mexico for 9 days building a house and doing hard labor, and I miss it. It was probably the funnest 9 days of my life, and it was so extremely God-filled and joyful! And also, I love praying, there isn't many things I can think of that are more fun and great than getting the oppurtunity to talk to my creator!

Some people tend to read the parts of the bible they like and not take all of the rules and concepts into context. Sometimes this results in a very liberal interpretation other times it results in a very strict interpretation.
If you can still find a way to talk to your friend ask her why it was OK for Jesus to spend time with thieves and Whores but she can't hang out with you because you cuss.

Some people like her probably are boring. There is a perfect place for her if she wants to wear dresses and go back in time to relive the bible. It's called an Amish Farm. :-)

Maybe it's just because I'm an atheist...
But seriously... those people confuse the hell out of me.
And something to think about: What's the difference between men's and women's clothing, really? If women wear jeans all the time, don't jeans become women's clothing then?
And what about kilts? Kilts are basically skirts... but men wear them and have been wearing them for hundreds of years even if skirts are considered women's clothing.

Depends what you call fun. If I act like you then I wouldnt be Christian. Just because I dont want to hang around someone like you doesnt make me boring. It means I select good friends. It makes you look like you have no God since you have no self control to speak without using foul language or consideration for other people. I wear shorts and sandles to church btw.

Then pray that God shows you Christians that you find exciting. We are out here, you know! I'm wearing shorts and a sleeveless shirt, and I watched a movie that should've had a R rating on it, particularly since it came out in 1978, this afternoon. I'll pray for you.

you know everybody has their own thing that they are into, if you were into what she is into maybe it wouldnt seem so boring to you. that's one reason the world is such a great place , we can all do the things we want to do . and if she doesn't like you saying god dammit to her you should respect that and not do it. maybe there is something that would really piss you of if she said it in front of you. we all have to think of the other person sometime.

I certainly hope so. I find religion to be anything but religious. Most people 'believe' only because they fear hell and damnation, not because they want to spend eternity in heaven.
You go right on saying 'god dammit'!
