I have never been to a fortune teller, but I have heard that sometimes they are able to see the future. Would you spend the money? How can you tell if they are faking it?

They are faking it, think about this; if they could predict the future why haven't they won the lottery? Why would they need to work on the sides of streets and in shacks. ; ) But seriously, thinking like this can be dangerous since all it's doing is destroying all the magic left in the world. =(

I wouldn't spend money on it because I don't believe that fortune telling predicts the future. I think it works best when done alone or with a friend. Tarot cards, in particular, are more about self-discovery. The cards and the symbols on the cards, in my interpretation, are meant more to make you think about how these symbols do, have, or will affect your life.

Spend $25 on a tarot deck and a how-to book instead. Select a deck that captures your interest (I use a Celtic Rune deck and an Arthurian deck) or go with something classic like the Scapini deck. Don't be afraid to make guesses about what the cards mean after you read up on them--intuition is key!

I'm a psychic and I definitely do not go about attempting to read the future. It's constantly changing based on karma and choices, so I wouldn't be able to see it anyway. Besides, God/Creator/Goddess/whatever does not need me to tell you when something bad is going to happen. You've got angels/guides/your own intuition for that. IF you're meant to know, if you're meant to stop it, that is. Sometimes we are meant to go through bad patches to learn something, and no psychic will be able to help you avoid that.

I read the Tarot, runes, and energy. These things can be used to guide you, maybe answer some questions, ect. Being psychic DOES NOT MEAN being able to predict the future. That's just Miss-Cleo crap. Being psychic means being open to information that's available to everybody on a non-physical level. I'm just tuned into it more than other people. Everybody has a 6th sense; it's called "intuition." That's what real psychics use. And they're more tuned into it than others, in the same way that some people have better eyesight than others, or better hearing.

No reputable psychic I know (and I know lots of them) claims to be able to predict the future. They can read cards or runes or use other divinatory tools to help you make choices, and maybe to see what's coming up for you in the near future, energy-wise (like maybe if you're stuck in a dead-end job, some new energy coming into your life will give you the kick you need to make some positive changes and help you go after the job you really want, and a card-reading will [in my experience] show that). Some can even see/hear spirit guides and angels, and receive information from them.

But if someone tells you they can say without a doubt that you will be hit by a bus next Tuesday at 7:34 p.m. or that you will inherit huge amounts of money within 30 days just by wearing green and a necklace of rosehips that'll-be-$100-please is full of crap.

Being psychic has nothing to do with the Hollywood-gypsy notion of fortune-telling. It's an art, as is using intuition for anything else (all artists are essentially psychics, because they follow their own inner guidance about what to create; we follow our own inner guidance to read the divinatory tools we've chosen to use). And as artists charge for their work, I charge for my time. It's not much, though. But it's still work.

The only sure thing that a fortune teller will be able to tell you about your future is that your future fortune will be reduced by the same amount that their future fortune will be increased.

I can tell you know they're faking it. If someone could truly tell the future, wouldn't they just win the lottery? And if they don't care about money and would rather spend their time helping people learn about their futures-- why do they charge money? If they can truly tell the future and truly want to help people, they should win the lottery and live off that, then offer free readings of the future.

I were on your shoes previously, so I how i can help. in the initiating God gained't pay interest on your prayer when you're into fortune telling. it really is not any longer of God. So get that out of your ideas. once you're confessing and praying to God be straightforward, and in case you save doing an identical sin again and again you gained't fill the flexibility of the Lord. also, in case you choose to make amends to someone achieve this. i take advantage of to be a drug addict and that i ought to apply and ask God to forgive me and that i somewhat meant it on the time, yet then i ought to apply back, and repeat. I virtually died a pair of situations. So i got here upon a church and a help crew. i do not recognize what your scuffling with. i will allow you to recognize that it will take sometime, it gained't without be conscious get fixed over evening. the terrific element i choose to assert is do not trust what someone says in fortune telling, or witches, they're going to make your existence worst and they misinform you, reason they have not a real area of their body and they prefer to seize you want a spider.
