it goes something like "if you love someone set them free - if they come back it was meant to be if they don't they were never yours to begin with..." Is that correct?.....And does anyone actually think that's true?

It's close enough and yes, it's true. You have to accept that you cannot keep someone with you by force any more than you can make someone love you.

If you love something, set it free. If it returns to you, it's yours to keep. The saying holds a lot of water from my experience, but a saying is just a saying.

ya that's right. if you can set a person free or let them go and they say no i want to stay and be with you and it's their choice then ya its meant to be. but if you have someone and make them feel like they are stuck and you set them free then they go on then it might be hard but at least they are happy and eventually you can find someone who wants to be with you.

Yes that's it, N it seems true. Setting them free, seems that space allows people to grow a little.

I am not sure about the meant to be part, but some will certainly come back to ya.....when they do, it means trouble.
