If it is as simple as you are going away for the day, yes, your pet should be just fine. If you are thinking more of he will be penned in a small area, then maybe no. As long as the area he will be in is large enough for standing and turning and laying, he should be fine.

it all depends... 1 how old is your dog... 2. is he extremly close to you to where he hates to leave ur side?

It will not hurt him physilcally. Not at all... but i your dog is used to being with you 24 7 and not alone in the house then there is a possibitlity that he could become slightly destructive

if it's just the exercise that your worried about that's fine. but alone for one day means what? he'll be left in your house for 24 hours without going outside to the bathroom? find for him, not so good for your carpets. but if he's just not getting exercise for 24 hours that's fine

yeah if you put him in a kennel first. I NEVER leave my husky alone in the house for more than a couple of hours. I usually dont even do that. We pretty much always kennel her when we leave.

Your lab would be fine I'm sure. I love labs. My fav dog ever.
