A douche is a feminine hygiene product used to clean the vaginal area. Essentially, a liquid is squirted "up there" in order to clean it.
Although many women swear by douches, it's actually not a good thing to use because it changes the natural chemistry of the vagina and makes it more prone to infections.

All it is is a syringe that a woman inserts into her vagina and squirts the bottom part of the bottle to release the mixture into her vagina. I didn't think they made them anymore. They claim it is used to cleanse the vagina..which is wrong..all it does is push bacteria further up into the Fallopian tubes...the body cleans it self naturally and needs no help from fancy shmancy douche companies trying to make a profit from making women believe that they are dirty and need a cleaning

Douche's are created to make a female feel unclean if she does'nt use it after sex, or once a month. The truth is they are unhealthy, causing vaginal infections. The body has a natural way of cleansing. There is never a need to douche. I got this from my OBGYN.
