A five week old puppy should NOT be given home remedies for constipation! Your fingers are too big to be inserting into her, and you could cause irreparable damage. And using other things as suppositories is not advisable.
Make the earliest appointment you can with the vet!
Is she drinking and eating appropriately? You can try feeding her canned food instead of dry until you see the vet, since there's such a high water content in the canned food it will help hydrate her and if she is in fact constipated, it could help that BM along.
And yes, unless there are extenuating circumstances, 5 weeks is too young to be taken from her mother and littermates. She's going to miss out on the lessons moms teach puppies, such as self-control when she's weaning them, and the bite inhibition she'd learn from her littermates. These are extremely important things for puppies to learn, and they really only learn them properly from dogs.

5 weeks old isn't even old enough to be away from the mommy dog. You shouldn't use any home remedy on a 5 week old puppy. Go to the vet. This could be a sign of something major. Now.... in the future, when a dog is an adult, a good home remedy for constipation is plain old diluted soap water. Even better is the liquid from the bottle kids use to blow bubbles. A squirt of this in the butt will work as a home remedy enema but I would always check with a vet before trying any home remedies.

Puppies are extremely delicate. Get to a vet like NOW, tomorrow, ASAP. It could easily be something major and any home remedies you use can do WAY more harm than good, and trust me I know a ton of them, I study it... just DONT do it to a pup this young. Go to the vet.

You can use 1/4 to 1/2 of a glycerine suppository for infants. That does mean you have to INSERT it!!
Otherwise just wait until you can get her to a vet. There could be a condition that is causing a blockage, and trying to make the puppy poop would not be a good idea!!

olive oil or some other kind of safe cooking oil. I don't know what a 5-wk old pup could be constipated by. Is he getting milk replacement?

WOW! That's awfully young for a puppy to be away from it's Mother. I'd get it to a vet ASAP.

lube up a finger in a glove and... it worked for my cat three times. Big guy, too, almost 30lb, but down to 22.
