After trying for 10 years. I finally lost 150+ lbs (12 stone) and kept it off for over 4 years now. I've beaten 3 terminal diseases and I am now in amazing health, all around, not just thinner.

I did it without medicine, workouts, religion, going hungry or hating my food and without an operation or secret formula. I had tried counting: calories; carbs; fat; etc. I had tried jogging, swimming, weights, aerobics, crazy medicines and starving! But nothing ever worked well or lasted very long.

I also had Hypertension, High Blood Pressure, Chronic Asthma, vision and hearing loss. constant colds and ills, annual flu or pneumonia and more. I was approved for bypass surgery and taking usually between 16 and 20 pills a day.

take a look at my before and after pictures...

Drink a minimum of 8 glasses a day, and drink a glass of water 10-20 minutes before a meal, so you feel fuller and eat less. That's what my friend did it worked for her. Also it is good to burn more calories than you consume here's my favorite site http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/HealthyLiving/MealPlanner/MealPlanner.htm it helps you plan a diet and fitness routine based on your caloric needs.

Only go for burning 1-2 lbs/week, if you intend to keep the weight off. Any more than that and you'll likely put it back on and then some.

Diets can help but not long-term. Excercise and water work for me. I try to ride my bike for at least 30 minutes a day and I drink 8 glasses a day. You shouldn't try to lose weight in a time frame, like 2 weeks. It's better to drink lots of water always, it'll make you lose your water weight. Plus, you should eat lots of salad-it's a yummy and healthy way to eat! Plain yogurt and fruit makes a good breakfast! :) Hope this helps!

water flushes out your system. The whole weight watchers thing is actually designed so food passes through you before it gets absorbed in your system. So foods high in fiber, and water basically do the same thing. Eating 6 small meals a day and no large meals helps because your stomach stays smaller. Go to dwlz.com (Dotties weight lose zone and look at some ideas she has for low point meals. Points are calculated by fat content calories and fiber.

No, Water is not the answer to losing weight. Actually I got to drinking water all the time, I drank nothing else ( except Black coffee) for like a year. It caused so much bloating I started adding other drinks back into my diet

The answer to losing weight is to burn more calories than you take in for any given day. You should definately drink lots of water to aid metabolism as well as to reduce your body's water retension. Just like with calories, if your body realizes it's getting adequate food and water, it will be less likely to hold on to calories and retain water.

Water will help if you are drinking other things that are high in calories and low in nutrition. Substuting water for sugary drinks such as soda, kool-aid, and sport drinks will reduce your calorie intake and therefore help you lose weight. A healthy weight to lose is about 1-2 pounds a week (.5-1kg).

OK... 1st water isnt the only answer. You have to be on a basic planed diet. Yes, drink water-- it WILL help. But in general, drink fluids. Do a few excercises every moring - just something small. Fruits and veggies are good, also eat nuts and eggs. So instead of having meat as your protien you can substitue it with things that have many protiens also. Thinking about some dessert??? The healthiest desert is TRAIL MIX!!! Its very healthy. So drink lots of fluids, eat fruits veggies nuts and eggs (or other things w/ protien), small excercises, and GOOD LUCK!!!

Water Menu For Weight Loss

Many of us know that keeping our bodies well hydrated is essential for good health and for weight loss. Drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water every day is recommended and yet many people find this difficult to do.

If you are one of the many people who find it difficult to drink water, here is a program easily followed to ensure you are well hydrated every single day.

When you wake up you will often be thirsty because your body loses water while you are sleeping through breathing and perspiration. Drink a large glass of water with a slice of lemon for zing.

Drink another glass of water with breakfast or a cup of herbal tea before setting off the day.

Mid morning - snack on a piece of juicy fruit such as orange, rockmelon, watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew. Have a glass of water and perhaps try a dash of herbal aloe juice which is wonderfully soothing to the digestive system.

Lunch - think of soup or have a glass of water before your meal, or perhaps a herbal tea.

Mid afternoon - While you are preparing your evening meal, drink a glass of water and snack on some crunchy fresh vegetables.

Evening - Sip a glass of water before your meal with a dash of your favourite fruit juice for flavour.

After dinner - before bedtime drink your final glass of water and sleep well!

Now here's the really exciting part - you may notice a reduction in inches and centimetres, as you body's water store become redundant and so decrease. You may need to 'spend a penny' more but the results will be worth it.
