Alcohol mixed with vinegar, or use a hair dryer on low setting - just keep the hair dryer at least 2 feet away from your ear.

An ear nose and throat doctor told me to prime the ear with a few drops of warm water, this will make the canal open back up and the rest of the water will run out.

Rubbing alcohol dripped into the ear from a cotton ball or bit of tissue works if you don't mind the warm sensation which I enjoy. It'll force the water up and then evaporate. It is highly effective and used for swimmer's ear.

This works f/me & my daughter: Stand on the top step and jump down to the next one, keeping your knees locked so the shock of landing shakes your skeleton... It probably works outside the pool, too...! You'll feel the warm water trickle out your ear...

I use swim ear. It can be found at any local store usually by the pharmacy or eye and ear care aisle. At walmart it's by the ear plugs.

put a little bit of white vinegar on a q-tip and swab your ears gently...it will all dry quickly and relieve the pain.
