If you both liked dating each other, then why did you break up? Sure, there's a chance that he'll go out with you, but not a good one, especially if he's checking out other girls. Why wouldn't you want to do the same? After all, the Chinese definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, but expecting different results.

Hmmm only one way to find out. I know that's probably what you didn't want to hear but you don't have anything to lose but ask him. But why did you both stop dating in the first place? I guess that is the main question everyone wants to know... and who initiated the break up... it may be worth it just to remain friends since you were able to at least retain that. Sometimes being more than that is not meant to be no matter how much we want more. Many have ruined the best in friendships by exploring that possibility only to find out that they lost a really good friend. I've been blessed once in my life to have gone through something similar and still retain a very good friend in the end. I guess what I'm trying to say is if the reasons were pretty important for the break up in the first place.. that is where you should start. It doesn't hurt to just talk to him about what it was that happend while you were dating. Now if the feeling is mutual and he also wants to resume dating... well then "nothing ventured, nothing gained". Good luck in what ever you decide.

Depends the reason why you broke up. If it was because you two couldn't be together at the time because timing wasnt right, than sure. It seems you guys are really good friends so something can bring you guys back together. But if he broke up with you because he only saw you as a friend, or because there wasn't any chemistry then it just isn't there. But give it a shot, try to see what happens. I wish you only but the best..

Try going dutch. It's a date, without being a date. If you're friends, then it'll give U a chance to feel him out. Just make sure U ask him how he feels.
