Allegory of the Television Set
(after; The Allegory of the Cave, By Plato)
Some people think that the shadows on the wall are all there is to reality.
The TV screen is their reality. The TV is there shadows on the wall. That's all they know. the TV teaches them all about right and wrong. Good and evil. What's cool and what's not. it teaches them how to brush their teeth and with what. they would be lost without it. If the shadows on the wall lied to them they wouldn’t know it. The TV is like their alter to their GOD. If you turned them around and made them look at the light behind them so that they could see what was causing the shadows they would be blinded by the light. They wouldn't be able to see. So many people have been brain washed by the shadows.

It is useless to worry about how others watch too much TV. Modern society is artificial. But you can be as much a part of the real world as you wish. Let others do the same.

If you are being told a bunch of lies, then go elsewhere for your information. Use your own eyes if necessary.

In order to make educations decisions, you need to have an education. A solid foundation in what is 'real' will let you see through the lies and discover the truth for yourself. Just because you are told lies, does not mean that you have to believe them.

;-D Relax and enjoy life.
