I have an oval face, long wavey hair... thinking of getting side swept bangs. What do you think?

Side swept bangs look great on oval faces! Very sexy. But just remember, even if you leave your hair wavey....straighten the bangs, there is nothing worse than curley bangs...it just never looks good. I say go for it! You only live once, live it with a bang!!

I love side swept bangs. And oval face, long wavey hair sound just perfect for side swept bangs :-)

Be careful, querida --
Any hair that touches your forehead is a problem if you have very breakout-sensitive skin. I grew my bangs out because the acne was getting ridiculous. Also -- bangs cause you to touch your face a lot, brushing them away. If you have pretty clear skin all the time -- go for it! =)
Oval faces are the perfect canvas for a hairstylist -- they work with almost every kind of haircut possible. Make sure you know what you want -- pictures really do help the result.

With an oval face shape you can wear any hair styl you want, everything will look good. I like side swept bangs I think they look pretty...infact that's how mine are done. Just be sure to keep the skin on your forhead(esp. where the bangs touch) thoroughly cleaned to help prevent any breakouts.

I think that would be pretty cool! I also have an oval face and I use to have my hair separated in the middle, but I tried side swept and I looked fabulous wiith them! You should try it out =]

I have an oval shaped face, and I got side swept bangs and they look great... If your hair is not straight, then yes you might need to straighten them... they look much better when they're flat... I have waivy hair and I straighten them but it takes me a min...

I give alot of my clients side swoop bangs. They tend to look good on many people if they are worn right. I think that they are very flattering to the face. Especially oval face shapes. Have fun with it. Just remember that you can wear them all different ways too.

i have wavy hair too and i love my side swept bangs! i dont straighten mine cause it looks too rough, but i take a warm curling iron, typically a large one, not a small one, and just gently pull across the bangs with it, but dont curl them, you know what i mean? or if your drying your hair, use a large round brush and just dry them in the direction they are cut. i absolutely love them!

Could look great if you chose the right stylist... Just be careful to pick a look that won't make your forehead appear to be over-sized :p

sounds good make sure they aren't to short thought...because sometimes ppl get them to short and it looks all funky for a while.
