Miracles ended with the Apostles.

Jesus passed HIS powers to the Apostles, the Apostles passed them to NOBODY. The Apotsles could raised the dead. They had the power of Jesus. That power ended with the last Apostle.

You think not? have you seen in the last 50 years on TV, anybody raise someone from a graveyard?

I'm sure Fox News* would love this. Ya think?

Good Question.

The Apostles didn't pass some powers. They passed all or nothing. No where does it say they passed power to anybody.

I beg to differ with you about miracles!
There happen to be more miracles being performed today than in earlier times because there are more people on the earth!
The reason that it appears that none are seen today is because miracles have become common place and therefore have lost their significance in our society!

Miracles happen everyday all day long. I think your real question is Why doesn't God deal directly with our lives any longer. The answer to that is...We have pretty much asked Him to step out of our lives. We're trying to take him out of the schools, the courtrooms and just about any public arena. If I were Him, I'd go away, too. Also, everything changed once Jesus died for our sins. We are now living in a dispensation of Grace.

Miracles happen alll the time people just choose to call it luck. it was pretty amazing that out of the twin towers falling there was a lady that survived and she was on the 27 floor i call that more than luck. The math was done when the building fell and the odds of her surviving was around 1 and 200 to the tenth power that she was in the exact place for the building to collapse and she still be here. to me luck is more like 1 in a million.........

Who told you that none are seen today? Miracles are seen all the time, even today. The problem is that people have become blind and refuse to see them, even when they are right in front of their faces. Open your eyes - the spiritual ones, the eyes of your heart - and you will see them, too.

There are still many miracles wrought by God. It's just not recorded anywhere. Actually, the many miracles that Jesus performed were too many to list.

According to the Vatican, for a person to be granted sainthood, there must be a record of "verifiable miracles." Given that there have been recent saints, there must be actions which the Vatican defines as "Miracles."

Mind you, I'm an atheist, and don't trust the Vatican. But if you are wondering what they define as a miracle, that is where you should start.

They are happening now, but mostly in other countries, where people sacrifice with much prayer and fasting. In the US there are miracles that never get the press, because 95% of the media is liberal and it wouldn't fit into their agenda to advertise what God is doing.
